Kingsmead Independent’s Day market

Saturday 4th July saw the Kingsmead Independent’s Day market take over our beautiful square with 10 awesome indie traders gathering to sell their hand crafted and totally unique wares.

I’m lucky enough to have met a lot of Bath’s independent traders at various markets in the area (our favourites being the Bath Artisan and Frome Independent) and even luckier to be able to call a lot of them my friends. When I decided to organise a market in honour of Independent Retail Week – a national initiative to encourage shoppers to stay local and support their indies – I enlisted my incredibly talented friends to take stalls.

The day was a huge success and we thank anyone that popped by on the day to support their local indies. Our city has so much talent and we should cherish it. Below is a list of the businesses that joined us, do check them out online and on social media – you are guaranteed to discover something amazing!

Look out for another independent market later in the year….
