Hermès Festival des Amazones Silk Scarf

Originally released in 1992, the Hermès Festival des Amazones silk scarf was designed by Henri d’Origny. The design pays tribute to Catherine de Medici who is widely credited with the invention of side saddling, which allowed women to ride alongside their male companions. Depicting a selection of the finest side saddle harnessing, the rich browns stand out against the soft and elegant pink background. Smaller in size than the average Hermès scarf, this works perfectly as a neck tie or wrapped around the handle of your favourite handbag.
